SHAH KOT

           Shahkot, is a town and one of three tehsils in the Nankana Sahib District of Province Punjab, Pakistan. It has a hill park which is being converted to a theme park. Its 200,000 residents are located in Pakistan about 151 mi south of Islamabad, the country’s capital. Until 2005, it was part of Sheikhupura District. It is known for its historical significance, as it was once ruled by the famous Mughal Emperor Akbar. The city is also known for its fertile agricultural lands and is a major producer of wheat and sugarcane. It is surrounded by beautiful hill, making it a popular tourist destination for nature lovers. The city also boasts several historic monuments and tombs, including the tomb of  famous 12th century Sufi “Syed Murad Ali Shah Almaroof Baba Nu Lakh Hazari”. City name is on the name “Baba Nu Lakh Hazari” .
